Manuel Sylviano Duran, 79, a lifetime resident of Wagon Mound passed away peacefully at Evergreen Meadows on Sunday, June 9, 2013.

Manuel was born in Wagon Mound on March 10, 1934, to the late Sylviano Duran and Lucia Maria Maestas Duran.
He was a very hard- working man, working construction for many years.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Sylviano Duran and Lucia Maria Maestas; brother, Albert Duran; and sister, Aurora Martinez.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Mascarenas, Sandra Cruz and husband, Albert of Wagon Mound, Lorraine Vigil and husband, Fernando of Albuquerque, Jo Ann Garcia and husband, John of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. The rosary will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at Santa Clara Church in Wagon Mound. A private interment will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Santa Clara Cemetery in Wagon Mound. Luncheon to follow immediately after interment at Santa Clara Parish Hall.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rogers Mortuary.
