Mary D. Baca, 72, a resident of Las Vegas passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas.
She was born on March 5, 1944, to Bonifacio Armijo and Cresencia Pacheco Armijo in Las Vegas.
A Catholic, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan D. Baca; son, Jessie Baca; parents, Bonifacio and Cresencia Armijo; brother, Eddie Armijo; and sisters, Aurora VanDruff and Irene Armijo.
She is survived by her children, Juan Baca and wife, Donna, of Questa, Ramon Baca and Jenny of Chacon, Joanne Macias and husband, Carlos, of Santa Fe, Gerald Baca, Darrel Baca, and Earl Baca, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Rose Clark of Grants, Erlinda Padilla of Las Vegas, Cresencia Muldoon and husband, Richard, of Denver, and Christina Armijo of Las Vegas.
Rosary service will be held at 8 a.m. on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, with funeral service to follow at 9 a.m. with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas with the following serving as casket bearers: Juan Baca, Ramon Baca, Carlos Macias, Gerald Baca, Darrel Baca and Earl Baca. Serving as Honorary bearers will be Rosa Clark and Joanne Macias. Public viewing will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Rogers Mortuary Chapel.
