Our precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend Nora Archuleta passed away on Nov. 30, 2017 of a sudden illness.
She was born on March 9, 1931 to Andres Pacheco and Corina Rivera Pacheco in Mora, N.M.
Nora worked at the New Mexico Behavioral Health institute for 25 years. She was a beautiful person with a big heart, with an open door for everyone. She enjoyed making blankets, going to the casino or just talking on the phone with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Gladys Duran, father: Juan Andres Pacheco; mother: Corina Pacheco; sister: Eleanor Medina; granddaughters: Audrey Tafoya and Courtney Lee Martinez.
She is survived by her sons: Dan Jaramillo, Johnny Jaramillo (Greda); daughters: Consuelo Medina, Esther Tafoya (Leroy), Velma Roybal (Harvey); Phyllis Dimas and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother: Pete Pacheco (Tillie); sister: Stella Gallegos.
Rosary services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, N.M. Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 at 9 a.m., also at Our Lady of Sorrows, with Father Rob Yaksich as Celebrant.
Serving as Casket bearers will be Santiago Jaramillo, Daniel Jaramillo, Leslie Martinez, Leroy Tafoya, Jr., Arturo Roybal, Kalvin Dimas, Albert Tafoya and Anthony Martinez. Cremation will take place following services and burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
