Patricia Ann Ray Knoebel was born Jan. 22, 1939, in Pineville, La.
Our beloved mother, wife and grandmother, passed on on July 14, 2018, in the mountains of northern New Mexico, in San Miguel County.
She was a strong, spiritual, independent woman who loved animals, nature, classical and baroque music, playing the piano, singing hymns with her family, hiking with her dogs and family, and exploring the canyon country of Utah.
Her vast knowledge and ability in music, mechanics, geology, cooking, gardening, plants and mathematics - much of it self taught - is greatly missed, yet treasured by all who knew her.
She attended college at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and obtained her bachelor's degree in physics. She worked at White Sands Missile Testing Grounds in New Mexico, followed by teaching mathematics
She is much loved and missed by her husband of 47 years, Arthur Knoebel, four daughters Sylva Murdoch, Stefanie Prejean and Georgina Knoebel, all of Albuquerque, N.M., and Crystal Knoebel Western Ford of Las Vegas, N.M.; her sister Gloria Ray Jordan of Wylie, Texas, and her grandchildren
We love you!
