Paul E. Romero, Sr., 61, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe.

He was born in Las Vegas on Aug. 8. 1951, to Milnor Romero and Josie Delgado-Milnor.

He was the apartment manager of Mad Sam Enterprises for 18 years.

He was a loving and humble father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

A lifetime Catholic, he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Trujillo; parents, Milnor and Josie Romero; mother and father-in-law, Juan and Helen Trujillo; and brother-in-law, Chris Trujillo.

He is survived by his sons and daughters, Mark S. Romero and wife Lisa of Phoenix, Ariz., Phillip Romero and fiancée Felisha Gonzales of Santa Fe, Stephanie Romero and husband Alex Von Mutius of Las Vegas, Peter J. Romero of Las Vegas, Paul C. Romero, Jr. of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Alicea Romero, Jonathan Romero, Haleigh Thill, Gabriella Romero and Jordan Romero; sisters and brothers, Alice Valdez and Albert and family of Rio Rancho, Sam Romero and Clare and family of Palm Springs, Calif., Michael Romero and family, Anna Johnson and Victor and family all of Las Vegas; sister-in-law: Viola Trujillo and family, Edwina Trujillo and family all of Las Vegas; numerous other relatives and many good friends.

Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, with the following serving as casket bearers: Glen Gomez, Robert Archuleta, Diego Romero, Matthew Bustos, Adam Bustos and Andrew Bustos.
