Robert V. Montoya, 63, of Las Vegas passed away peacefully at home on the evening of April 4, 2018.
He was born in Las Vegas to Valentin and Mary Aurora Montoya. He attended West Las Vegas Schools and New Mexico Highlands University and served in the U.S. Navy.
Aside from his time in the military, he was a welcomed part of the community in Las Vegas, known from his many years in our retail industry, he was remembered at his places of work as a diligent and helpful employee.
Robert is also known for his expert artistry and skill he applied to his artwork. He is survived by his children Adrian, Adam, and Ash; one grandchild, Athena; sisters Bernadette and Ruth; nieces Valerie, Reina, Sierra, Audrey, Desiree, and Marissa and nephews Matthew, Fernando, Jeremey and Tristen.
Funeral preparations are being arranged by Riverside Funeral Home and family.
The rosary will be taking place Monday, April 16, 2018, 7 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral mass will be the following day, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows.
