Senaida (Sadie) Sandoval, 92, died Aug. 17, 2013, at her home in Eagle River, Alaska.
The Guest Book is expired.
Sadie moved to Alaska in 1985 where she lived with daughter, Marge, and son-in-law, Bob.
At the age of 65 she discovered her love for bowling and continued bowling in leagues well into her late 80's.
When she was no longer able to bowl on the lanes, Wii bowling became part of her daily activities. She enjoyed crocheting and shared her beautiful finished projects with friends and family. She was proud of the fact that at a late age she had been able to fish for salmon, snow machine and go on many camping trips via an ATV.
She looked forward to spending time at their cabin at Silver Lake every summer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Silviano, and eldest daughter, Pime Collins.
She is survived by five children, Marge and husband, Bob, from Alaska, Rose from Illinois, Mary and husband, Tavio, from Mexico, Mike and wife, Donna, from Arkansas and Johnny from Colorado. Sadie was proud of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her remains will be taken to Bernal to join her husband, Silviano. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Bernal chapel.
Sadie was a real "Lady." She taught her family how to age with love, pride, and grace.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
