Angelita "Angie" C. Fisher, 82, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at her home in Las Vegas.

She was born Oct. 6, 1930, in Sena to Felipe Chavez and Leonore Romero Chavez.
She was united in marriage on July 16, 1951, in Las Vegas to William Hubbard Fisher.
She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Eagles and Elks. She loved to crochet, sing, make tortillas and menudo and to make people laugh.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Felipe and Leonore Chavez; son: Felipe Chavez; brothers: Raymond, Elias and Severo Chavez; father- and mother-in-law: Harry and Leah Fisher; brothers-in law: Ed, Don and Larry Fisher, cousins and nephews.
She is survived by her husband: William H. Fisher of the family home; children: Kathy Fisher, Maryann Fisher and husband Ron Nix, Robert Allen Fisher and wife Sharon all of Las Vegas; grandchildren: Andrea and Estevan Zamora of Albuquerque, Phillip Montoya and wife Rebecca, Bianca Montoya all of Santa Fe; great-grandchildren: Kathleen Zamora, Mathew and Marissa Montoya all of Albuquerque, and Jacob Larrañaga of Santa Fe.
Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at our Lady of Sorrows Church, with Father Stone as celebrant. Burial will be at 9:45 a.m. on Friday at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
