Sheppard, Richard "Dick"
March 5, 1949 - May 9, 2013
Dick was born in Birmingham, AL and raised in Burbank, CA. He attended John Burroughs High School, played football as a quarterback and was named player of the year in December 1966.
He graduated in 1967. Dick accepted a scholarship to Taft Jr. College. He served in the Air Force and later moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He had a great passion for golf which he played often.
A memorial service was held in Ft. Lauderdale on May 15, 2013 and attended by his loving mother Penny, brother Jim, fiancee Robin and his many friends and acquaintances.
He is survived and missed by his mother, brother, sister Shawn, daughter, granddaughter and many cousins and all who knew him.
