Federman, James Peter  
October 19, 1948 - April 24, 2015 James "Jim" was a dedicated father, uncle, brother and international figure in California transportation and tourism. Jim's gregarious personality and charm endeared him to everyone privileged to meet him. He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life will be held on May 16th at 2 p.m., at Telegraph Brewing Co. 418 N. Salsipuedes Street, Santa Barbara, CA.

Freed, Frank Holston - Los Angeles  
September 17, 1924 - April 22, 2015 Frank Holston Freed was born on September 17, 1924 in Washington D.C. He passed on April 22, 2015 of congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, daughters, Carol Gobler and Jenise Walker, stepsons, Alan, Barry and Brett Tuck, grandsons, Jeremy and Jonathan Bentley, and great-grandsons, Camden, Parker, Dylan and Luke Bentley. Frank enlisted in the Army in 1942 and fought in World War II. He was honorably discharged from TME General Hospital in Atlantic City, New Jersey on July 18, 1945 after being wounded in France. Frank graduated from Wheaton College in 1948 with a BA Degree in Philosophy, and from Fuller Theological Seminary with a BD Degree in Theology. He was the pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in West Covina, Ca from 1951 to 1957. He received a MA Degree in History from Stanford University in 1958, and was a founding Pastor of Valley Church in Cupertino, Ca from 1959 until 1969. Frank got a Secondary Teaching Credential in History at USC in Ca in 1970, then went to Fuller Theological Seminary School of Psychology where he earned a PhD Degree in Psychology in 1974. Frank was a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Orange County, ending his career as Director of Counseling at the Crystal Cathedral for ten years until his retirement. In 1997 Harold Shaw Publishers published Frank's book BREAKING FREE WHEN YOU'RE FEELING TRAPPED. He was credited with making a positive impact on many people's lives with his loving spirit and educated counsel. This man has left a very large footprint. We love you Frank! Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at Shepherds Grove Church, 12921 Lewis St., Garden Grove, CA.

Fujii, Dr. Gertrude  
(97), passed away on April 28, 2015 in LA. She is survived by her sisters, Arlie Gildner and Dora (George) Uyeno; sister-in-law, Mary Sugioka, M.D.; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:00AM at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes with Rev. Linda Sugioka Abe from Disciples of Christ Church officiating. Family requests flowers to be omitted.
