December 12, 1940 - July 2, 2014
Alexander Crosby Riddell was born in Honolulu, Hi, on December 12,1940. He recently passed away after a long term illness on July 2, 2014 at the age of 73. He is survived by his brother Bob & Evelyn Riddell, his two sisters, Sandra Humphreys, Ginger & Bill Lehmann, his daughter Bonnie & Larry Watters, his son Darrell & Heather Riddell, his grenddaughter Elizabeth Rose Riddell, along with nieces and nephews.
Alex was a very special soul. He was humble, gentle, and a loving person, always thinking of others first. He loved Jesus with all his heart. His positive attitude gave him all he needed to get through his journey on earth. He was an inspiration to all of us.
He graduated from San Diego High School in 1958, and then he attended UCLA, where he joined the Sigma Pi Fraternity. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. Alex had many careers.He loved cats, enjoyed music, played piano by ear, sang in church choirs and helped teach Sunday School, he was a avid bowler and won many trophies.
We will miss Alex greatly, but his memories will live on forever.
Services will be held at McCormick Mortuary, 635 Prairie Street, Inglewood, Ca 90301.on July 18th at 10:30 am until 1 pm, Burial will follow after lunch at St. Augustine's By-The-Sea 1277 4th Street, Santa Monica, Ca 90401 at 2:30 pm.
