Anne Leah Wade

September 5, 1925 - July 7, 2013
Anne Wade, daughter of George and Celia Weiner, passed away on July 7 at the age of 87. Anne attended UCLA where she developed a life-long love of everything Bruin. Her career included work as an agent for the Writers Guild of America and for different real estate companies and law firms. Anne had many interests. Her passion was acting in and directing Equity Waiver Theater over a 15-year period. Anne was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, a part of her life for 58 years. Her involvement in AA brought her serenity and allowed her to assist others on their path to sobriety. Anne was a devoted mother to her three children, George, Kate and Honora, her stepson Daniel, and grandchildren, Jesse, Brian and Kevin. Anne is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Red and Helen Weiner, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anne was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ruth Weiner, and her former husband John Wade.
In lieu of flowers, donations may made to Alcoholics Anonymous, Los Angeles Chapter.
