Betty Kozasa passed away on 5-15-13. She was born in San Francisco, Ca. and later moved to Los Angeles. She graduated from UCLA
and later married Ken Kozasa. She and her family were removed to Santa Anita racetrack at later to Jerome concentration camp in Ark. Her second son, William was born there. Before the war ended her family move to Madison, Wis. They lived there for 10 years before returning to Los Angeles. She began joining, leading, and founding many organizations all related to the welfare of children, minorities, and the elderly. She spent almost 50 years of her life in this passion. She worked for and assisted the City of Los Angeles, the State of Calif., the US Government and lastly, the United Nations.
Services were held at Green Hills Mortuary where she is buried. She is survived by her son, Richard.
