Dorothy Weinstein passed away peacefully at her home in Beverly Hills, on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the age of 94. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Dorothy was born in Detroit, Michigan to Fanny and Max Lichtenstein, the youngest of four children. She moved to Portland, Oregon when she married her husband of 53 years, Mark Weinstein. In 1952, they moved with their two children, Carrie and Robert, to Southern California where she lived for the last sixty years. Dorothy was a woman of elegance, style and impeccable taste. She loved and appreciated beauty, was passionate about design and was the consummate hostess. She was generous and gracious, had a terrific sense of humor, loved to love and loved to laugh. She is survived by her daughter Carrie Brillstein and son Robert Weinstein (Linda), grandchildren Brittany and Jess (Katie) and great grandchildren Skylar and Ruby, and her angel caregiver, Remi.
A celebration of her full and beautiful life will be held in the near future.
