Irma Haydon

September 23, 1935 - October 3, 2013 Irma Haydon passed through the gates of heaven on October 3rd 2013 after her long battle with cancer. She was a long time resident of La Habra. She was born in Mexico on September 23rd 1935. She worked many years as a workers' compensation specialist for Food Giant and then Ralphs before retiring. She is survived by her two children Cynthia Stephens of Whittier, Durand Swanson of La Mirada , sister Lupe Valenzuela of Cerritos, brother Pastor Noriega of Mexico, many grand children and many other family members, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed music, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also had a special joy and was a long time volunteer to Beatitudes Church in La Mirada. She looked for the best in all people and just wanted to be remembered as a kind person. Memorial Mass will be at Beatitudes Church Tuesday October 8th, 10:30 a.m. in lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Breast Cancer Society or Beatitudes church.
