Jean Friel

Friel, Jean Coffin
July 13, 1930 - February 9, 2013
Jean Coffin Friel passed away February 9th with her family at her side after a long battle with Alzheimer's . Born in Littleton, MA she attended the University of New Hampshire and went on to become an occupational therapist at Massachusetts General and then later at Craig Rehabilitation in Denver, CO. She married James C. Friel on February 15th, 1964 and a romance that lasted 50 years was official! Jean raised 2 beautiful children, Holly and Mark and 6 wonderful grandchildren. Jean and Jim traveled the world together for 45+ years and touched every corner of the globe. She was a loving Wife, a dedicated Mother, a caring Grandmother and a gracious Friend to many. Jean will be deeply missed by the many friends and family who had the gift of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: In memory of Jean C. Friel, Mary S.
