John David Stout

August 1, 1957 - May 16, 2013
John David Stout, 55, of Los Angeles, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan, John participated in the cross-country team, honor societies, and traveled internationally playing his trombone. He taught himself to ride a unicycle, climbing up and down stairs with ease. John received his BA from Hope College and his MA from Michigan State University. John was a highly respected therapist, known by his colleagues and patients for his compassion and clinical expertise. He is survived by his brother, Michael Stout, nieces, Elizabeth and Olivia, and his many friends, including, Leonard Sabalvaro, Lisa Bove, Elaine Ahmad, and TJ Paez.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, at 3pm at Hollywood Forever.
