Mark E. Campbell

November 17, 1919 - May 9, 2013
Mark Campbell, 93, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of May 9th of cancer. He was born in Seattle, WA, and lived most of his life in Whittier, CA.
Mark was a Merchant Marine, in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and served in World War II in the Pacific. He received his B.A. and M.S. engineering degrees from M.I.T. and worked as an aerospace scientist for North American Aviation and Rockwell from 1951 to 1990.
He married the love of his life, Nell Livingston, in November of 1943. A model father and family man, we will miss his humor, love and joy he brought to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nell, and is survived by his three daughters, Chellie, Jane (Dick) Markota, Carole (Lloyd) Wiltfong, and five grandchildren Marissa (Max) Alwag, Lindsey (Chris) Poveromo, Robert, Kathryn, and Nick.

A memorial service will be held at Rose Hills, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA on Thursday, May 16th at 11:00 am at the Memorial Chapel.
