Bob (82) was born in Los Angeles to parents Nettie Hoffman (Altman) and Morris Hoffman, DC. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Juanita (Culp), children Russell Hoffman (Sally), Nancy Vorel, Susan Peacock (Brad). Grandchildren, Jennifer and Steven Hoffman, Scott and Madison Vorel, brother Howard, DDS (Bud), sister in law, Mary, niece, Kimberly and cousins of the Altman family. He attended Carthay Center Grammar School, Louis Pasteur Jr. H.S., and Fairfax H.S.; Graduated from Los Angeles Chiropractic College and practiced with his father for several years. Married, (Russell born), divorced and enrolled at Pepperdine College for Pre-med (met and married Juanita) and obtained his M.D. in Los Angeles. He became a specialist in Anesthesiology, lived and practiced in Fullerton, CA (St. Jude Hospital). After some 10 years, complications from a hand surgery forced him to leave Anesthesia and start a G.P. practice near St. Jude. He retired about 1995 but continued attending medical seminars. His many patients appreciated his care. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
