Ted Ross

Ross, Ted T
April 1924 - April 11, 2013
Ted Ross, nee Tibor Rosenzweig, our beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle, died at the age of 89. Ted's remarkable life is celebrated by his children, Alex, Philip and George Ross, daughters in law Julia, Brenda and Julie, sister Iboly, grandchildren Ryan, Justin, Maya and Nicolas, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law. Born in Camar, Romania, Ted's life was a remarkable journey from pre-WWII Jewish communities in Marghita, Oradea and Budapest; surviving Auschwitz and subsequently building a family. His passion was opera and singing, his vocation was that of a remarkable haute couturier. Ted demonstrated the finest human qualities of survival, compassion, dedication, artisanship and embodied what the renewal of one's spirit really meant. He will be remembered for his love, kindness, devotion to family, gentleness and strength that touched everyone he met. We will miss you dearly.
