Prominent businessman from Monrovia, Jerry passed away peacefully in Chubbuck, Idaho. Born in Los Angeles, he attended Monrovia High and USC before entering the Army/Airforce during WWII; he was stationed in India. After the war he managed the family business (McBratney?s Dept. Store) and settled with his wife Allene (deceased) in Arcadia. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing where he continued this passion in Idaho. He is preceded in death by his wife Allene. He is survived by sons Mickey and Jeff, daughters Melissa and Laurie Cole, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
