Victor Lundin Obituary
Victor R. Lundin, age 83, passed away in Thousand Oaks, California. He is survived by his daughter, Silana, sons Marcus and Zachary, grandchildren Marcus Jr., Kinsey, Von and Bowie, sister, Shirley Meyer, and partner in life, Amelia Pryharski.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Victor's dream was to escape the Chicago winters and to pursue a career in the film business in sunny California. He spent his early years acting and later on, after attending Loyola Marymount College and receiving a B.A. in Communications Arts and Literature, added writing and producing to his credits. He always kept his fingers in the film industry while at the same time, pursued his other main line of business as a food distributor and salesman. He loved working and did so until his very last days.
Victor was a devoted and beloved father and grandfather, and a good friend to all who knew him, most of whom he called his "other kids". His jokes and incomparable spirit will be sorely missed.

Ich habe gestern Robinson Crusoe on Mars auf DVD bei mir in Köln, Deutschland geschaut und habe Victor als Freitag immer gerne gesehen. Traurig für uns das er jetzt in einer besseren Welt lebt, die noch weiter Weg als der Mars ist. Alles gute der Familie.

My dad, Joel Wolleat, liked the theme song from Robinson Crusoe on Mars so much he sent Victor a letter in the mail in like 2012. My dad was a living room and locally known singer songwriter, English major, CNA, and stay at home father in his later years battling cancer. In response to my dad's letter, Victor actually sent my dad an autographed CD and old headshot and they became pen pals for a while. Victor was so kind to my father and we never did know if he had a secretary corresponding with us or if it was really him. I like to believe that we were friends with a movie star. By some cruel coincidence, Vic actually passed away just 2 months after my dad. It seems they had more in common than I could have known.

As Shakespeare wrote we are poor actors who strut and fret our hour upon the stage Lundin hour was over half a century in roles small and large. For his critics the Bard's line later on suits them well "tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing" Rest well for critics never will.

VIctor will always be remembered for his generosity and larger than life personality. He boot-strapped his own success in life as an entertainment artist and consummate entrepreneur and strove to better himself everyday. As a former professional baseball player and life-long baseball fan, he co-founded and sponsored the Conejo Valley American Legion Baseball League, and later in life devoted much of his time to assisting struggling artists. We miss him dearly.
