Gerry Abbenhuys Obituary
Dec. 21, 1977 - Aug. 17, 2007.
Gerry passed away suddenly of an undiagnosed heart ailment. Often described as a bright light, he had a contagious laugh and a genuine thirst for knowledge. He worked at Ernst & Young, in Los Angeles, CA.
Gerry is survived by his mother, Bianca Putters; his brother, James Abbenhuys; his stepfather, Louie Putters; his aunts, Lori Hlad, Leticia Apalategui and Sylvia Saputo; his uncle, Rick Apalategui; his beloved grandmother, Lupe Apalategui; and his girlfriend, Alejandra Zooby.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., August 24, 2007,at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills (800) 204-3131.

Gerry,
Over two years have passed since we had you with us, and some days it just does not seem possible. I forget that you are gone, and then it hits me and the grief starts all over. My solace is prayer for your happiness in heaven, and prayer for God to give me strength. It comforts me to know that you are watching and guiding us from heaven, and that God and Grandpa are with you.
