Died August 29, 2003, in Los Angeles, CA. He was born October 2, 1965 in Charleston, Illinois to Barry L. Hoferkamp and Isabel Silverwood. He was in the film industry for fifteen years in Chicago and Los Angeles. He was worked with Warner Brothers, Universal, and Paramount Studios, USA Networks, Inc., and most recently, the Disney Studios for "Pirates of the Caribbean". Alec is survived by his father Barry Hoferkamp, his brothers, Jared Kamp, Palm Desert, CA, Drew Kohler, Palm Desert, CA, his sisters, Kristen Kohler Perry, La Quinta, CA, Megan Kohler, Moreno Valley, CA, his grandmother, Madge Waltrip, Charleston, Illinois, his aunt, Sherry Kamp, Chicago, and his most loved nieces, Dreeana Hoferkamp, Dana Point, CA, and Tavin Perry, La Quinta. He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Silverwood. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at Ramon Chapel, Palm Springs Mortuary in Cathedral City, CA. Interment will be at Wellwood-Murray Cemetery, Palm Springs, CA at a later date.
