Shook, Dwight Montgomery
October 27, 1921 - November 16, 2011
A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather. Born in Yorba Linda California. Dwight pursued his love of flying by joining the United States Army Air Corps during WW2. He met his wife to be and married in 1946. At an age when most men retire, Dwight began what was to become a twenty year career in motion picture special effects. Dwight's credits included Airplane II, Terminator 2, Batman Forever, Spaceballs, Spiderman 1 and 2, X Men 2, Serenity and Flight Plan. Dwight became a regular crew member at Academy Award winning Grant McCune Design. His zest for life led him around the world with his beloved wife, Mary, from studying art in Florence, sailing the Nile, to climbing the Great Wall of China. He will be greatly missed. He leaves his wife Mary, sister Dorothy, daughter Cindy and husband Mark, his son Monty and wife Debbie, and grandson Warren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to
