Janice E. WHITESELL

WHITESELL, Janice E. Nov. 4, 1920-Feb. 7, 2013 Born in Avonmore, Pennsylvania, to Howard and Mary Whitesell, Janice Whitesell graduated from Grove City College, Grove City, PA, before moving to Alhambra, CA, with her family in 1945. She had a lifelong love of travel, and lived for several years in Hawaii before becoming an executive secretary at The American Cancer Society and California Lutheran Hospital in Los Angeles. An active member of San Marino Community Church, Janice enjoyed PEO, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Daughters of American Colonists. She is survived by her sister, Betty Garoutte, of Bradbury, CA, three nieces and one nephew, and six great-nieces and nephews. A family graveside service will be held at Rose Hills in Whittier on Friday, February 15. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to San Marino Community Church, 1750 Virginia Road, San Marino, CA 91108.
