I loved her like I would an older sister who always encouraged me in art and gymnastics and her partner Russ Saunders would spot me on the flying rings as I performed in Santa Monica and Venice California. Paula grew and learned in acrobatics with style and grace who will forever be remembered as a pioneer of elegance in acrobatics and team member with Russell Saunders for 50 years. R.I.P.

I remember your mother (and father) from the days of the Rod and Reel Club picnics at Paradise Cove. I enjoyed looking at all of the pictures from her wonderful life. My sincere sympathy to you all.

Dear Paula, in our 60 years of friendship we shared so much; Muscle Beach (those that know, that says it all) dance classes; camping & water skiing trips with lots of crazy daredevils, kids & dogs & Randy & Ginger on his shush board; Ted Dewayne Circus dates; auditions and interviews; bar BQ's after the beach & Hal's fantastic beer battered fish; workouts at the high school gym and beer and pool afterwards; our numerous trips to Palm Springs, Salton Sea or Vegas, getting in backstage & at all the circus's to visit our friends; our trips to state competitions with you judging; our mini vacations to Yosemite and Sequoia and all the little out of the way towns; but more important, our confidences, our church, our faith and what I will miss the most is our laughter...at anything and everything...we could laugh & giggle & sometimes cried together. I love you and will sorely miss you Paula and to tell the truth, I'm a little jealous, because you're up there will all of our friends and I'm still waiting my turn to fly....until then...say hello for me....Love you, Patti Tanny Baker
