Robert Bernstein Obituary

Bernstein, Robert
May 31, 1934 - February 13, 2013
Robert Bernstein, 78, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2013 in Palm Desert, California after a lengthy illness. He was born in New Jersey and raised in Southern California. He attended UCLA as an undergrad and later graduated from USC Law School. He practiced law as an attorney for many years in the Los Angeles area before becoming a law professor at Southwestern Law School. Bob was artistic and loved spending time in his woodworking shop. His passion for woodworking and his creativity complemented the business he later owned manufacturing quality gaming equipment in Carson, CA. Bob appreciated the arts including opera, paintings, design and literature. He was an avid reader and shared his love for great books with family and friends. We will miss him and his enthusiasm for life greatly. He is survived by his children Larry (Maria) and Leslie and two loving grandchildren. Donations may be made in his memory to The American Jewish World Service (ajws.org) or PBS (pbs.org).
Memorial services will be held at the Groman Eden Mortuary chapel - 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Mission Hills on March 10th at 11:00 am.
