I am great fan of Tony Musante and I am missing this wonderful actor. His performances in The Incident and especially Anonymous Venetian make him unforgettable. I am from Czechia and I saw these films in 1973. Late, but frankhearted condolences...

As a long time fan of Mr. Musante's work, I wanted to honor his memory and let his loved ones know he had such an impact on me as an actor. I am both Italian American and a fellow actor and his talent was truly an inspiration to me and many, many others.

I first became aware of Tony in "the Last Run" with the great George C. Scott . I was a kid and was very impressed by his ability to hold his own on screen with Scott . I always liked seeing him in anything after that - good guy or bad he was always passionate and real . One of the lessons I've used in my life as an actor .

A fan of his ferocious performance in the film "The Incident," I shook his hand and professed my admiration for his acting in the 4th floor hallway that led from the Chicago Sun-Times to the Chicago Daily News. I think "Toma" was about to premiere and he was on a press promo for it. If I were just a guy on a drab Chicago street I would like to think he would have been as nice and welcoming to a fan's word as he was that time. But in a newspaper building (one destined to be supplanted by another Trump Tower) he smiled in sincere appreciation, and one can ask for no more. It remains a thrill to have met Tony Musante there and then.

I lost touch and only recently learned of Tonys passing. Tony was my best childhood friend. I think I spent more time at his house than at my own. We formed boyhood clubs: model building, music, boxing, bike racing , any lots more. RIP Tony✝

Belated but sincere condolences to all members of the Musante family. At age 13, thanks to Tony, I got a job working as a counselor at Camp Mohawk in Litchfield County, CT. That job started a chain reaction as my brother and sister later worked there. Thru his job at Mohawk, my brother found the love of his life, later to become his wife. Tony, being an accomplished musician, along with Doug Merrimen on cello, and a violinist put on probably the only classical music performance ever at Mohawk. (1952)?Thank you Tony, for combining talent with humility. You've left some indelible marks from your time on Stiles St. in Stratford.

I still look through teary eyes thinking of you and while I write this. There was always something so endlessly exciting whenever I heard "Your Uncle Tony will be there." Although each person may have felt the same you were in touch with, whenever you came to me and wrapped your arms around me, I felt the warmth and love you were extending, I just hope you felt the love I was extending back. As I told you, you were, are, and always will be my "hero". I will never forget you, I will selfishly always wish I could see you just one more time, I will always remember the times we talked on the phone, I will always love you. My uncle, my friend, my hero. I can't say good-bye, only I hope to see you again, where I can feel your embrace and the love you extended, only to make sure you feel mine back. I love you, and I will look for you, I will see you again. Please look for me.

In 1993, I fulfilled a lifelong dream when I visited New York City for the first time. After riding the subway to Greenwich Village, I emerged from the station completely lost. As I stood staring at my tourist map, vainly trying to figure out where I was, I suddenly heard a voice in front of me ask, "Can I help you?" I looked up into the smiling face of Tony Musante, who was walking with another gentleman and a woman (perhaps you, Mrs. Musante). I was so stunned, I blurted out, "Are you Tony Musante!?", to which he gently replied (with an even wider smile),"I am he." After I finished gushing my admiration for his work, he helped me get my bearings, wished me a wonderful visit, and continued on his way. That exchange is the best memory of that first visit to my favorite city; I will never forget his graciousness and his kindness. He was such a sweet soul. You and your family are in my thoughts at this very sad time.

Afterwards the memories remain...... Tony was a good man and a good friend. Our memories of him are many from Center School, Polka Dot Playhouse, Stratford High School, the Class of 54 reunions - the list goes on. We will always remember him for his smiles and laughter. His star will shine brightly in the heavens. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to Jane, Tom, Cecile and Kathy and families.

I knew Tony in high school and succeeded him as President of the Student Council, and saw him perform in "The Hasty Heart." We often talked during basketball season. He was the manager. I was a JV player. He was a true gentleman and a naturally gifted actor. My sympathies to his family. He left far too early.

Although Tony was a star and a leader when I knew him in the 1950s at Stratford High School, he was always accessible and friendly. His career over the years was well deserved. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his untimely death. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and associates.
