Winifred Wood Willardson Badger

April 16, 1922 - December 29, 2013 In Remembrance: Winifred Wood Willardson Badger, 91 years young. Wini passed away on Sunday, December 29th, at 7:00 am, in Irvine, CA. She is survived by her loving husband, George Badger; her five children: Jeffrey, Robert, Thomas, Bruce, and Karen; her four step-children: Valerie, Bryan, Paul, and David; 35 grand-children; and 54 great-grand-children. She was married to her first husband Drue Willardson for 30 years, until his passing, and then married to George Badger, also, for 30 years. Wini was an alumnus of Beverly Hills High School, and UCLA, where she was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi sorority. She was raised in Beverly Hills, then a 30 year resident of Encino where she raised her family, and finally lived her remaining 30 years in Irvine (Woodbridge Shores). Wini was loved and adored by everyone, especially her treasured family. She leaves a marvelous example of love, faith, courage, and achievement as her legacy for her family to follow. Wini's memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 4th, at the LDS Irvine Stake Center, 23 Lake Road, Irvine, CA 92614. Flowers may be sent to the Pacific View Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3500 Pacific View Dr., Corona Del Mar, CA 92625 (949 644-2700). The interment will take place at the Pacific View Memorial Park at approximately 1:00 pm, on Saturday, January 4th.
