To the family and friends of Mr. Stovitz,

I am sorry to read of the loss of your dear loved one. He seems to have been quite a distinguished gentleman who affected the lives of many in a very positive way. You do not know me, but after reading the brief summary of his many accomplishments, I was moved to express my condolences. In times of grief such as this, I have always found it very comforting to meditate on the promises found in the holy writings. Job, a faithful man, who experienced many trials and loss, had faith that God could restore life. His words are recorded at Job 14:14, 15, "All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, until my relief comes. You will call, and I myself shall answer you." What is more, God has a desire to bring back to life his human creation, "For the work of your hands you will have a yearning" those verses go on to say. I know that at times like these it may be difficult to take comfort in anything, but these words have brought me solace, and I hope that to some degree they will do the same for you.

Sincerely,
