Baash Bains Obituary
September 12, 1946 - October 29, 2010
Baash Bains, aged 64, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California on October 29, 2010 from his battle with pneumonia. He was born in New Delhi, India and emigrated to the United States to study electrical engineering at UC-Berkeley. He then continued his education earning his masters at California State University-Los Angeles. Baash worked 28 years as General Manager in the Microwave and Antenna Division for Boeing Satellite Systems in El Segundo and earned many patent awards for his work. He retired in 2001 and took up golf. He was an avid player and watcher.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maria; his daughter, Andrea; his brothers Surj Bains and Ben Bains; and his sisters Nikki Bains and Mo Liggett. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1712 S. Glendale Avenue, Glendale, California 91205. All are welcome.

To Maria and Andrea - we will always remember the humble, kind and generous man in Baash. When Rick and I stayed at your lovely home in Las Vegas, we immediately felt at home. We laughed easily together and enjoyed having you show us the sites. If I remember correctly the many Elvis appearances at one of the outdoor malls was truely a hoot. There were other times together with family, all of which are fond memories for us. We will miss Baash and remember him with loving thoughts. Our love to you both -
