Benita Toney was born in Wayne County, Michigan. She was the 8th child of 11 born to James and Irene Robinson. She was wed in holy matrimony to James Edward Toney in 1979, and they were blessed with 4 children, 3 daughters and 1 son. Benita was a devoted wife and mother.

I only knew Benita because I was a patient at the dentist's office where she worked but it was always a joy to see her and I looked forward to her gentle humor and lovely disposition. I think of her often and hope her family has had happier times since her sad passing.
