KAYE, Bruce On November 7, 2012. Beloved son of Dr. Abraham Kaye and the late Bernice (Libon) Kaye; loving brother of Ephraim Kaye (Stephanie) and Janis Halperin (Arthur); nephew of Bert and Goldie Libon, uncle to ten nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews in both Israel and the United States. Bruce grew up in Newton, MA, attended the University of Pennsylvania and the Cardoza School of Law at Yeshiva University. At Cardoza, he was co-editor of the Law Review. He served as assistant to one of the New York State Supreme Court justices. Bruce furthered his academic achievements at USC Film and Communications School where he was awarded an MFA. He worked in the film industry at Columbia Pictures. Most recently, Bruce had obtained a real estate brokers license. Throughout his life, Bruce maintained a keen interest in history, both personal and communal. This passion led him to a position with the Society for the Preservation of West Hollywood.
