Can´t believe it´s been 14 years since Corky passed. He was a good friend and a great customer. He was a very generous man, helping out his crew when they needed it. Rest in peace Corky!

It is stunning to realize Dad has been dead for 9 years. Time passes so quickly. It is a reminder to love people, even unloveable ones. To forgive quickly and keep no record of wrongs. I miss my Dad but have the hope in me that I will see him again. Sometimes I hear his familiar whistle on the breeze and the times I sit on the lake and catch a few fish I hear his familiar laugh and glowing pride at his daughter who is a catcher not just a fisher... It is the simple things I miss.

Oh did my Dad love to fish! Weeks before he died he was on his favorite lake fishing. Lucky for us all he fished almost until the end of his life. Going through his pictures it is obvious he loved Lorelei, his friends and family and his travels. Today is Saturday and the hardest thing about it is knowing I will not hear his voice on the other end of the phone... Thank you for your kind words and prayers.

Always had time for a fish story...You don't often come across someone so capable, from construction of buildings to making rifles and designing plates, and good at them all. I am grateful for the time he shared teaching me to fish, its a blessing that I will keep for a lifetime. May the Lord bless him and keep him. ....Did I mention that the tarpon he broke off was at least 150lbs ;)
