Donald Chuy Obituary

July 19, 1941 - January 6, 2014 Don Chuy passed away at home in Myrtle Beach South Carolina on January 6th. He was born in New Jersey and grew up in Nutley New Jersey. He attended Clemson College in South Carolina on a football scholarship. In 1963, he was drafted into the NFL as an offensive lineman. He played professional football for six years with the Los Angeles Rams, finishing his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is survived by his wife Zoe Anne, one daughter Joey Chuy from a previous marriage, a sister Elaine Chuy Gregg, brother John and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

I worked with Don on a house
construction site in the summer of 1977 or 78 in south Philadelphia. We had to dig a cellar by hand! OMG it was hot & hard, etc., etc.. Don was very kind as was his wife!
