Sally,Lee,Dana,Peter and those five wonderful million dollars (grandkids).Don was such a wise and funny man. What a pleasure to be his friend. As soon as he learned that I had retired from the LAPD in 1995 he shared all his Alex stories( who I had known on the job and played sports with.) I joined the local investment club and Don was a huge beam of fresh air and light . His humor kept everyone laughing as we lost money in the market. My wife Taylor and I hope the family is aware how much Don was loved and respected.

We have been very close friends for many years; it's always a shock to lose a dear friend like Don and our love and prayers go to Sally and her very supportive family. The memories are many, diverse and cherished: Boca Raton for a party or two, and traveling through Europe on several occasions. Work was never dull either, and I will sure miss our phone conversations over the past few retired years. Good bye old friend, you will sure be missed.

We learned of Donald's passing in the Paso Robles newspaper this weekend. Bettina and Placid Anelle were my parents and Donald's neighbor. I met him several times during visits to my parents home in Cambria. We had dinner and good times with Sally and Donald and I wanted to tell you hello how much we appreicated knowing Donald. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Dear Sally - My heart and love go out to you and yours during this difficult time. You and Don were so good to me when I was going through this when Ed passed away, and I will be there for you whenever you are ready.

I had the privelege on knowing Don for over 40 years. His love and support for his family was truly remarkable. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted by all his friends at this time.
Sincerely,
Jean Beaudry
