Last time I saw Doug was when the USS Hancock was pulling out of San Francisco back in the early 70's (I thought he was on the Kitty Hawk for some reason), and he yelled my name; I looked up, and there was Twitter. Great friend, calm soul, and many laughs in the Como area where we all grew up. My condolences to the Galvin Family.
