In loving memory of a loving and devoted mother to her three children Barbara, Jeff and Jerry. Cherished grandmother of Randal, Chelsea, Zachary and Skyler. Evelyn is also survived by Jeff's wife Traci and Barbara's husband Rob, as well as many extended family members and friends. All of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. If you were one of the fortunate ones that met Evelyn, she embraced you as family and you remained in her heart and mind for ever. Evelyn was born in Omaha Nebraska on October 2, 1927 to father Homer Daniel Banner and mother Alice Louise Borsheim. Evelyn passed away peacefully on August 9, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with various illnesses. Evelyn resided in Glendale, CA for the past 43 years. She retired after 23 years of service with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services. Services will be held on Saturday August 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Church of the Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive (800-204-3131).
