Christine, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I did not know him but I know you and I think he must have been an incredible Dad to have raised you into what you are today. From what I know he did a bang up job.
You know better than anyone what a toll grief can have on a person. Use your knowledge to help yourself as best you can through this difficult time and remember that there is no weakness in asking for help.
Jim and I will pray for your Dad, you and your family. God Bless you all.

Debbie, A measure and worth of a man are the family and friends he has cultivated. Your father's greatness is evident because of the person you are: a women of character, trust, strength, integrity, fun, and compassionate. He was a rich man because of you.
For everything there is a season,
and a time for every matter under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (RSV)

Mary, Debbie, I was so saddened by the news to hear of Fred's passing. He will be missed by all his WAMU friends. Several of us shared memories yesterday of Fred and our Los Toros Lunches, and like Christine said, Fred always said the funniest things that will keep us smiling for a long time.
Debbie, I know he was very proud of you and spoke it often, and Mary he always bragged on what a good wife he had. Your whole family will be in my prayers and in the thoughts of his friends left behind.
God Bless you,
Dawnia Craft

Debbie,
I will continue to be praying for peace for you and your family. I'm sure your dad was an amazing man, considering your heart and passion for others:)

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "come to me."
You didn't deserve what you went through,
...So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

I am the second of the three girls my Father had. Let me tell you, I thought he had his hands full with us; now I am thinking Heaven is going to have their hands full with him :) Those you knew my Father know that he had a wonderful sense of humor; Dad would say the darnedest things! I always told my Dad I felt blessed for having him and that I would not have had it any other way. I will the rest of my life comforted knowing the last words my Father said to me were, "I love you". One day, we will meet again and you will make me laugh with your nutty remarks. Forever and Always, I love you!
