So happy George was able to spend his peaceful and happy last 6 months with his children Marnie, Elizabeth and George III, and sisters Betsy and Cynthia at his home in Santa Barbara. He seemed so happy to be there amongst friends and in the family home. What a wonderful man, and such lovely children.

With loving thoughts and deep condolences to the family of George Barrett for their loss of a dear husband, father, and grandfather. I cherish my many happy memories of our special sailing adventures filled with laughter and the best of friends, and I hold those memmories dear to my heart.
YAY to George and his loving wife, Jane, for all the happiness they brought to so many of us.
With sincere sympathy,
Susan Shumway
