Gerard McInerney Obituary
August 16, 1949 - December 7, 2010
Gerard, a survivor of HIV for 25 years, will be remembered for his kindness, courage and spirituality. He was born the 15th of 17 to Irish parents in NYC. He attended seminary, graduated from SSU, and worked at Kaiser San Rafael. Gerard is survived by his husband, Daniel, 12 siblings, and a multitude of friends and family. A memorial will be held at Hollywood Lutheran on 12/18/10 at 3:00pm.

I will always remember Gerry and his wonderful zest for life. We met in 1968 when I was serving in the Navy. Tom Manion introduced us. Gerry and I became friends right away. We lost contact but I thought of him quite often wondering what he was doing. I am so happy to know he found someone to share his life with.
