November 17, 1922 - May 6, 2014 Gladys (Peg) Bodo passed away May 6, 2014 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. She was born in Fairfield, Iowa on November 17, 1922 and grew up in East Moline, Illinois. She graduated from Moline High School in 1941 and moved to California. She was married to Clarence Bodo who preceded her in death. Peg was employed as an executive secretary at Hughes Aircraft, Marquart Corp., and Northrop Grumman. She enjoyed traveling and playing golf. Peg was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church and the Assistance League of Santa Monica, CA Peg's family appreciates all of her loving caregivers, the St. John's Hospital Community and her friends and neighbors who supported her in her final days. Those who knew her well know that she made a valiant effort during her last years. Peg is survived by her son, Bradford of Lake Tahoe Vista, CA., her brothers, Guss Crowe of Pasadena, CA., Ralph Crowe of Rock Island, IL, sisters, Lillian Tinsley, of Marina del Rey, CA., Ruth Martin of East Moline, IL and Belva Van Norman of Moline, IL as well as 10 nieces and nephews. Peg is buried at Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 @ 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica, CA.
