Thank you Tio - and Tia - for being so kind during my childhood and on through my life as an adult. I really enjoyed visiting your beautiful home, and to visit with Ted. Thanks for the big smile, and thanks for your patriotism during WWII.

Dear Mrs Lujan, Nanette, Lisa, Ted, Tony and to the rest of the Henry Lujan family, my deepest and heartfelt condolense for your loss of a husband, father, grandfather and great grand father. What I remember about Mr Lujan is that he was a genuinely kind, jovial and godly man who I think enjoyed using other peoples names when referring to me. His smile was always contageous and I will always cherish the last time I spent with him at a St. Benedict's carnival many years ago. Confidently I can say that along the wide road that we travel, he is one to make it through the narrow gate and is now before God's face standing strong and upright. God bless you all and thank you for including the link to his obituary.

To my Aunt Alice and my cousins. Uncle Henry was a treasure to me. He was a wonderful reminder of a loving, kind and happy person. I always loved seeing him walk in the door and never wanted to see him leave...and that is how I feel now. Although I'm sad as everyone is, I only have to think about my uncle Henry and I automatically smile. He was a very special person.

Love you all,

It's been too many years since I've seen Henry and the family. I remember my teenage years going over to visit Tony and remember how kind Henry and Alice were to me. I remember the jam sessions in the garage and the fun parties in the back yard. Those were the best of times. My prayers to Alice, Tony and the rest of the family. May God shine upon you and give you strength during this difficult time. God Bless you Henry, and thanks for your kindness.

It's always hard to say goodbye, So that's why I always say, "till next time". Henry was my Grandfather, not by blood but by marriage. He will always be in our hearts. His warm smiles and hearty laugh will forever be remembered. Love and prayers are with the Lujan family from ours.

What a beautiful man Tio Henry was. He exemplified a
positive - warm - happy - loving presence. We observed such a deep love, respect and admiration between Tio and Tia, and seek to model that committment in our family. May he rest in eternal peace .

Dear Grandpa,

I know you can not read this, but I feel you should know. I did not go into your room to say goodbye, I did not cry as much as those around me, I did not tell your great child that you had passed, because I did not know how.

I did not do these things, because to me you will never pass. You will never leave me, and you will always be there to call me your muchachita and hold my face as you say it, just as you always had.

I will remember all the good times, and the great times. I will cherish all that you have taught me, and share with others stories of your humor.

But I did cry when I drove up the driveway and saw the light off in your room, knowing it was not off because you were sleeping, but because your body would never wake. I cried because my son will never know you in person, but only through memories. I cried because I will never be able to kiss your cheek and tell you I love you, and hear your voice say "I love you" back.

I know that you can not read this, but I know that you know. I tell you this because I love you, and I will miss you.

Love Your Muchachita
