ROTCHER, Ida E. Of Mission Viejo, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Born in New York, January 23, 1937, to Dorothy Levich Caldwell, Ida was a devoted, loving daughter. Growing up in Culver City, she worked for MGM Studios and then married in 1957. After having her children, Ida went back to college where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees with honors. Her professional career was centered around being a college professor and counselor. Ida is survived by her devoted husband of almost 57 years, Joseph, her daughter, Marci Rotcher-Schlomovits, son-in-law, Elie Schlomovits, grandchildren, David and Dana Schlomovits and her son, Gregg, daughter-in-law Melinda and grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle, Stephen Rotcher. A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she was a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
