Joe,
My thoughts and prayers are with you always especially during the passing of your precious Dad. Although, I never met your Dad I feel I met him through you. I will be here for you always. You have helped me get through the loss of my Dad, your friend. I know your Dad was very proud of you and you will carry on the legacy of your family through him. Hugs and proud of you.

Jack and I worked at Oracle together as instructors. We became friendly and stayed in touch even though we lived on opposite coasts. A few years ago he called me to tell me that he was becoming an Orthodox Jew. Being one myself I was very happy for him and we discussed a potential move to the east coast. In a sense his life was restarting anew in Allentown. I know that G-d was pleased with the difficult changes he made and a great reward awaits him in the next world. Hope to see you in the future buddy. His soul should rise in heaven,

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Mr. Hirsch's loving family. May the God of tender mercies comfort you in your time of such great loss and grief. Take comfort in the words in the book of John 6:40; Thru His word HE gives us the hope of seeing our loved one again.

Jack and I were good friends, going back to the days when we both worked at Ashton-Tate in southern California, doing tech support for dBASE and Framework software. Jack and I stayed in touch pretty regularly over the years, often having a good chat over a cup of coffee when we could get our schedules in sync. I always looked forward to those times, when we could just relax and chat and talk about all sorts of things past, present and future. I'll have to wait until I get to Heaven to do that again. Do you suppose God will have a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shop up there where we can enjoy a cup or two and catch up? :) I'm betting He will!
