Jamie Roach Obituary

Roach, Jamie Lee
Jamie Lee Roach of Sherman Oaks California passed away on April 12th, at age 56 from complications of breast cancer. Her courageous battle against cancer lasted over fourteen years, but never impeded her love and support of family and friends.

Jamie, the daughter of Leora Peak and James Roach, was born in Santa Monica, California. She grew up in North Hollywood and received her BFA from Cal State Northridge. After graduating, she worked for many of the top architectural and design firms in Southern California, and in 1997 she opened Jamie Roach Design. Jamie developed close long-term relationships with clients, and was renowned for her unique design aesthetic. Her prestigious domestic and international projects stretched from California to Moscow.

Jamie is survived by her husband and business partner of thirty-six years, Tommy, her daughter, Kelsey Louise Capps and her son, Kyle James Capps. Donations in her memory should be made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (http://www.support.bcrfcure.org).

Mommy,

You were the most incredible woman I have ever known, you made me into the woman I am, and I am so proud to be your daughter. There are not enough words to describe how you flew high above the world you lived in, how wonderful and vibrant, demanding and fun-loving you were. You never gave up, and neither will I. I will love you forever, and I will miss you forever.

Love,
Kelsey
