Jeff Davies Obituary

Davies, Jeff
Jeff Davies, 59, of Hermosa Beach, Calif., died Monday, Dec. 6, of complications from Frontal Temporal Dementia and Parkinson's Plus. He was the husband of Marie Davies, his soul mate of over 40 years.
He had been employed as a plumber by Sony Studios since moving to California in 1981, including several years as head of the company's plumbing department.
He was a son of Betty (Morris) Davies of Tamaqua and the late John Davies, who died in 2008.
A lifelong member of the plumbers' union, he also served as president of Local 78 in Los Angeles.
He and his wife loved to travel, visiting numerous places in the United States and around the world. He also loved music, art, nature, cooking and gardening. He was known for his great sense of humor, which developed early in life and continued throughout his life.
Surviving in addition to his widow and mother are a son, Josh Davies of San Jose, Calif.; a sister Beth, wife of John Lattanzi; and a brother, Johnathan Davies, and his wife, Deborah.

Jeff chose to have his ashes scattered in California's Big Sur Coast in lieu of services.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. The Bible tells us to throw our burdens on God and he will sustain us: "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt YOU in due time; while YOU throw all YOUR anxiety upon him, because he cares for YOU" (1Peter 5:6,7)
