Joanne KIRSHBAUM

KIRSHBAUM, Joanne June 2, 1930-October 20, 2010 Passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Ira. Joanne was a graduate of USC, a proud member and supporter of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. She was a generous philanthropist and very active with the Blue Ribbon at the Music Center, the Helping Hand at Cedar Sinai Hospital, Reiss Davis Child Study Center at Vista del Mar, and also sat on the board of JVS, promoting scholarships for those in need. Joanne was an avid art collector and world wide traveler as well as an amazing dancer. She is survived by two loving sons: David; Bruce and his wife Stacy. Grandchildren: Chase, Carson, Joshua, Sarah and Amy; brother James Rosenfield and cousin Marilyn Friedman. In lieu of flowers, tributes can be made in Joanne's memory to: Woman's Guild Lung Institute 8700 Beverly Boulevard - Suite 2416 Los Angeles, CA 90048 Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Mortuary.
