Dot and family,
you will not remeber me. but i was the cook from seldom inn way back a few yrs. when walt and vicki owned it. i just wanted to take a minute to let you know that i am thinking of you and your family,on this holiday, as i am sure it must be extra difficult. i would like to remind you that our bodies are only loaned to us, joes spirit is not gone, and i am sure he will be with you on christmas. i remember his smile.he brought a smile to almost anyone, as iam sure he will continue to do.i remember that everytime i looked in the restaurant joe was always laughing and joking with all the waitress.... i am sorry for your loss, and god bless

I was saddened during our phone conversation to hear the passing of Joe. During the past ten years my family has become very close to both you and Joe. Either at your home or on your boat, memories were made for my family. Two memories stand out for me...Once Joe and I were sitting at Hunters Station golf course talking about families and how special they are. Joe was very proud of you, your children and the grand-kids. My second favorite memory was when I was picking porcupine quills out of your new cars tire while you gave Joe hell for hitting it on purpose. May God be with you and your family at this time. I was so sorry to hear about your father passing. I remember when we were in high school, what a great sense of humor he had. It's hard loosing a parent what a great sense of loss you feel. It's hard to believe that my father has been gone 22 years and my mom for 16 years. I want to give my condolences to the family of Joseph for his loss. His wife Dorothy, his sons Michael, Sharon, Patrick and Kelly and grandchildren Roan, Laird and Quinn and other relatives. I never met in person to Joseph, but my admiration for the work of his daughter Sharon has done that I'm sad at his passing. I'm sorry that my English is so poor and incorrect.
I know what it is to lose a family because I recently lost my grandfather. So I want to accompany you in this tough time.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Joe, I only met Joe a couple of times at Vonne's home. I do remember him as a true gentleman, he will indeed be missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
